Salmon is a popular, heart-healthy food high in omega 3 fatty acid. However, it’s also very delicious. Despite being a “brain food”, seafood has been described repeatedly by experts as “brain food”. Dark chocolate bars are similar to drinking a few glasses of burgandy, merlot or three cups of Asian tea extract. A low-fat fruit smoothie is a good alternative to milkshakes. Your digestive system will also be healthier if you consume soluble fiber. Soluble fiber is abundant in fruits, nuts, and oats. As a healthy treat, eat an apple with a few almonds or walnuts. You can also add slices to your salads. Additionally, nuts lower LDL (bad), cholesterol and increase the risk of developing heart disease. Research has shown that lower blood cholesterol levels can reduce your risk of stroke and coronary disease. Whole grains, which are rich in soluble fiber, also provide vitamins that can help to maintain a healthy heart. Soluble fiber binds to cholesterol and is then eliminated from the body. These good fats will help keep cholesterol levels low.

Despite what thousands of products may claim, there is no quick way to get fit and healthy. It takes effort and determination. We want to make it easier for people to choose the healthier option. People can lower cholesterol by living a healthier lifestyle, eating well, and being active.
