FAQ
-
What does the repository limit mean?
The limit represents how many repositories you can use across all of your combined Release Pages. For instance, the Plus plan is limited to 10 repositories. This means you will be able to create one Release Page that combines the release notes of 10 repositories, or two Release Pages that each are connected to 5 repositories, or any other combination you need.
-
What are subscribers?
Your users can subscribe to live updates throught your Release Page. After subscribing they will receive notifications via email when you release new versions of your software. If you use semver, they will be able to state if they wish to receive updates on major, minor, patch, or every version!
-
Can I increase my subscriber or repository limit?
Of course! Send an email to support@releasepage.co and we'll be able to help you with your plan.
-
Can I use my own branding?
With any plan you will be able to personalise your Release Page by uploading logo or banner images, and modifying the colors of the page. On the Plus and Premium plans you will be able to provide you own HTML, CSS and JavaScript in order to fully customise your page.
-
Can I use private repositories?
On all plans you can use both public and private repositories. We only ever store release information, we don't have access to source code or any other repository details. We create a read-only hook with GitHub so we will never be able to make any modifications on your behalf. You can revoke this hook at any time in your GitHub settings.
-
What happens if I want to unpublish a Release Page?
You can unpublish a Release Page at any time. We will retain your data for as long as you like and you can publish the Release Page if you want. If you delete the Page (or your account) we will delete all the data associated with it, including any releases we have collected and all subscriber information.
